Gruene Morning
I arrived in Gruene before sunrise. There was a delivery trucked parked in front of Gruene Hall for 30 minutes or so. I got tired of waiting and left. I got some more photos in the area, and came back 15 minutes later. The truck was gone, and I swooped in fast and parked and started shooting. It paid off, this is a hard place to get without people and cars...
Gruene Hall, the white building pictured, built in 1878 is the oldest Dance Hall in Texas. Some of the greatest country musicians of all time have come to play a Gruene Hall, and the live music draws in tons of people from all around.
Some of the greats, including Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and George Strait have stood upon the Gruene Hall stage.
